It has been so rainy and gloomy allll week, so I haven't been able to take pictures. But today my friend, Ariana from Southern Stylenomics, and I are doing yet another collab (see the first here)!

I opted for navy and white and a ton of pattern mixing. I love seeing how much you can style the basics to something unique and will catch the eye. If I had thought through this outfit a little more and took advantage of the rainy weather I may have thrown on my navy and white polka dot rain boots. Oh, and you may have noticed that the vest is a slight bit huge... I saw it in stock for $20 off and they only had it in a medium, but I figured I would grab it for the good price and because it will be good for having 5 layers underneath this winter.

Ariana went for mixing stripes and herringbone with a pop of color. In other words it's the perfect everyday outfit! Oh and aren't you just dying to have her shoes?! You can get all of Ariana's outfit details over here, and while you're there go ahead and take a peak at the rest of her blog! She really knows how to style all the brands such as Vineyard Vines, Lilly Pulitzer, Kate Spade, etc.

Thanks for reading, lovelies!!

Ciao!!

Sweater- Loft outlet [similar here & here]
Dress, used as skirt- Dress Up [similar herehere, & here]
Leggings- Forever 21
Boots- Rack Room Shoes [identical]
Snood- Nordstrom, last year [similar, love this]
Bag- Kate Spade (on sale!)
Earrings- Forever 21, old [similar herehere, & here]
Bracelet- Susie Raine (My go-to bracelet)

My saving grace since I have moved up to Massachusetts has been this faux fur snood. I wasn't able to wear it much in South Carolina because it never got that cold very often. But oh my goodness it is the warmest scarf, and it can instantly give you that chic look to an everyday outfit. The next two on my list are these

The title on this post not only matches my sweater but also what my dream is, if that makes sense. I want to travel everywhere. Travelling is in my top three passions. I can't get enough of it! Well maybe not the whole long transportation part, but goodness, I would probably pass up a Chanel or Louis Vuitton for a trip to somewhere new!

Ciao for now, and thanks for reading!!

I have been spotted in this outfit at least six times in the past few weeks. It's so so simple and comfortable but still put together. I know you are probably tired of seeing this scarf on everyone and their mother, but there is a reason why everyone loves it. It is honestly all you can dream for in a scarf. It's worth every penny.

Thanks for reading and come back Friday for a lil something fun!

P.S. This post features the hair tie on my wrist. Forgot to take it off but let's be honest, almost every girl sports this look quite often.

Everyday Makeup Products

Well hello! Today I want to introduce something that you will see more of on Little Southern Trend Finder. That is beauty. Over the past year I have gotten really into makeup, skincare, etc. so I want to share a little of what I have learned and what I personally do/use. I haven't got a huge makeup collection right now, but I am trying to branch out the more I get comfortable. Here are the products I have been using on a daily basis for a few months now:

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer- I don't use this all over my face just mostly in the T-zone, but this makes my foundation go on so smoothly. I really like it!

L'Oreal Anti-Redness Correcting Primer- I use this on any acne spot or redness that I have.

NYX Hi Definition Concealer- I love this stuff. It gets the job done, and the price is also on point.

MAC Matchmaker Foundation- This foundation has amazing coverage. It isn't the best foundation for dry skin, which is why I searching for a new foundation. I have dry but oily skin, so if y'all have any suggestions please let me know!

Cover Girl Loose Powder- I use this everyday all over my face after I have done all the steps above.

Maybelline Dream Wonder Powder- I use this in the summer or when I going to be out of the house all day. I find that it controls the amount of oil on my face a little more.

Ulta Brand Eyeshadow, color: Bone- Under my brow, and on the lid
Cover Girl Eyeshadow palette- I use the color on the far right on the crease
Clinique Eyeshadow pallete- I use the brown more in the outer crease of my eye, then blend it inward

Palladio Liquid Eyeliner- I use this on my top lid, sometimes a cat eye sometimes just a line, depends on the day

Forever 21 Eyeliner- I use this on my bottom water line

Calvin Klein Mascara- This might be my favorite mascara ever. I use this just on my top lashes, I don't use any mascara for my bottom lashes.

Elf Bronzer and Blush Duo- This is perfect if you are experimenting with contouring and you don't want to splurge on bronzer

Clinique Blush in "Pink Posy"- This blush is the perfect shade for me because I can make it light and subtle and I can make it deep and dark. It's great year round.

EOS Lip Balm- Can't go without moisturized lips!

Make Up For Ever Lipstick in "N9"- This color is great for fall. It's one of those your color lips but darker shades, so in a sense it's a dark dark nude.

Maybelline Lipstick in "720 Pearly Pink"- This is my all time favorite lipstick. Unfortunately I can't find it anywhere anymore, nor can I find a similar color. I'm still keeping my eyes out though.

My favorite brushes are from Elf because they are inexpensive and soft at the same time.

If you have any beauty products or tips that you swear by let me know; I love hearing from y'all!

Striped Madison...

Skirt- LuLaRoe
Sweater- Gap outlet [love this, similar here & here]
Shoes- DSW
Clutch- DSW, not online [similar here & here; love this]
Earrings- Old, similar [love, love, love these]
Necklace- Susie Raine [love this & this]

Believe it or not, I actually had a hard time styling this skirt with the pieces I have in my wardrobe. But finally I pictured this lil' outfit in my head, and I couldn't be happier! This skirt is so incredibly comfortable and light but is also holds heat, if that makes sense, so it is perfect for transitioning from the warmer months to the cooler ones. Y'all, it even has pockets!!! It's a done deal for me when a skirt is comfy and has pockets. I also wore this outfit on Sunday with a faux fur scarf just to give me a little more warmth and it looked just as fab.

Thanks for reading, and happy Monday lovelies!

Fall is definitely here in New England and my exact reaction can be seen in the picture above. It's absolutely freezing against South Carolina's fall, but I still love it! It means I get to wear those chunky sweaters and scarves a little sooner than I thought.

My family and I went into Boston for a day over the weekend just to explore the city a little more. I am hands down a city girl; I cannot tell you how much I love the city. It's like when you just found the most perfect dress and then you find out it's on super sale for $20 against $200. Although, I will say my heart still has a special place for the country as well. Over all though it was a laid back day. I got to try a cupcake place I have been dying to go to, walked through the public garden (absolutely stunning!), found the center of all things shopping, my dad was able to mark off honking to his heart's desire in Boston, and finding the cutest neighborhood and pizza.

Happy hump day (is that still even "cool"?) lovelies!
