Leather jacket- Nordstrom Rack
Top- Old Navy, similar
Skirt- Boohoo (on major sale!!)
Flats- Topshop
Sunglasses- Francesca's, similar style
Earrings- Old, similar

I've said it before and i'll say it again, Nordstrom Rack is one of my go-to stores to find essentials. One of those essentials being a leather jacket. I got my shipment of two this past week, and I couldn't be happier with them!
One of the biggest trends i've seen this fall, and i'm sure will transition into the spring time, is lace up flats. You can find them in all different colors and price points; however, they are tricky when it comes to comfort. I've heard reviews on some that are a waste of money and some that are really easy to wear. The pair that I am wearing are one of the easy wearing pairs, and they are only $45!!

I've found myself watching older disney channel movies (like late '90s to early 2000s) and food network shows. For some reason they are very soothing to me haha! So if you can't find me, that's usually where I am.

Fall Craving: Light & Crisp

Light Fall

Leather Jacket//White Top//Jeggings//Boots//Tote Bag//Hat//Bracelet//Lipstick

I love the dark burgundy and hunter green for fall but there is just something about the look of white and light neutrals that just brings a look of chic to your wardrobe. I incorporated the top trends for this fall, such as thigh high boots, hats, and totes, that way you can still fit in with the style but not necessarily the deep colors.

It's Fri-yay!! And it's my day off so it's a good one. I really want to find a pumpkin patch soon, but it seems like they are hiding from me this year. What are your weekend plans?

Dress Into Duster

Duster- Old Navy, similar
Turtleneck- Old Navy, similar
Denim- Forever 21
Bag- Kate Spade, similar
Booties- Old, similar
Sunglasses- Francesca's, similar
Earrings- Old, similar

The moment I turned this dress into a duster I've never turned back. Seriously though, I will never look at a button down dress the same again. I mean it's two different pieces in one #win!

I have been on a baking craze lately; as in I've been really wanting to bake but haven't gotten to it. I think it's because I just found a new bakery near by, or because i'm obsessed with the show Worst Cooks In America. I have my go-to fall recipes but I want to add a few this year. I'm thinking a flavored coffee creamer and rice crispy treats (my weakness as of late).

Utility Vest

Vest- Francesca's
Flannel- Old Navy
Denim- Forever 21
Boots- Old, similar
Scarf- Old, similar
Sunglasses- Francesca's (in store), similar
Earrings- Old, similar

I've been wanting a utility vest for ages, so the moment I saw one I grabbed it. It's great for those not so cold days when you want to add a little extra fall to an outfit. I like the flannel I paired with it, but I had a plain light grey long sleeve shirt on and it looked even better! I feel like it will be one of those repeat outfits this year.

Speaking of year.... It's almost halfway through October, y'all. It just keeps blowing my mind how fast the days are. Yesterday a friend and I tried a new cafe and we walked one of my favorite trails that I haven't been on in months (due to me over freaking out about lyme disease, thanks New England). It was so gorgeous with all the leaves changing and then the cranberry bog and marsh surrounding it. Not to mention my mom + siblings + I took a drive to my favorite coffee shop that afternoon. Let's just say I'm learning to live/get out a little more when I get the chance.

Happy Monday, and thanks for reading y'all! xo

Cardigan- Old, similar
Button-down- J Crew Factory

Knee high socks- Francesca's
Booties- Nordstrom Rack, similar

Throw on a mini skirt, knee high socks, and cardigan and you can be Blair Waldorf for the day. I just bought 2 pairs of knee high socks for the first time this week and I have no idea why I waited so long. They are perfect for the cooler months since my feet and legs get pretty cold just walking around my house.

Also, I got asked where I found my cheetah print vest since it is such a hard item to find. Well I found one for y'all! The best parts, it just went live yesterday so they may still have your size left, and you can get 10% off you purchase at Juliana's with the code 'lstf10' at checkout!! Grab it NOW!

Business With A Flare

Top- Boutique in Newport, RI; similar here & here
Skirt- Old, similar
Flats- Topshop

Happy October, y'all! There have been a few brisk days here in New England already but it's starting to get steady with the colder days. I'm not ready to put away my sun dresses but I am ready to pull out my faux fur vests! Oh and have any of y'all tried the Toasted Graham Latte from Starbucks?! To be honest it was my first time stepping into a Starbucks in probably a month or two (NE is spoiling me with the local coffee), so that was a nice little visit back.

I have this fear of wearing the same outfit twice, unless it's the most comfortable thing in the world. With my job it's very hard to stay within the dress code and not have my fear become a reality. This outfit was the turn out one morning and it got quite a few compliments so I figured I would share it. Also, I promise I have some fall posts coming, no worries!
