NecklaceMarley Lilly

I'm so excited for today's post because I have teamed up with Marley Lilly to show you this delicate monogrammed beauty! I love this necklace because it is so easy to wear. It's a simple gold necklace with a special tiny touch. It's a necklace that will go with everything and it won't get in your way because of it's delicacy. For those reasons, it would be the perfect gift for someone special! To add onto that, it's on sale for $18.99!! Which is pretty dang good for a monogram necklace of good quality.

Some of my favorites from Marley Lilly are this ring, this necklace (seriously. I NEED.), this vest, and this pullover! Like I said, Marley Lilly is the perfect place to go for your holiday shopping because they are budget friendly and carry gifts that have the perfect personal touch. Because what girl wouldn't want to get an item with her monogram on it?!

There's one thing about me and that is I am not mean enough to go Black Friday shopping in actual stores. I can't stand pushing my way through crowds and half the time not getting what I want; along with standing in line. Ughh so.many.people. That's why online shopping is the way I roll.

I've made a list of the places I will be checking out as the clock turns over to Friday, even though some of the sales have started way too early (let's keep Black Friday on Friday y'all!) I'd say my top three are AG Jeans (my favorite jeans of all time!), ASOS & Loft!!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday of the year, and I hope you all had the best day yesterday.
Let the Christmas season commence! xo

Can you believe that we have a little over a week until Thanksgiving?! There are only three things on my mind that day: family time, food, and what i'm going to wear. If you combine those three things you have to find something comfortable to lounge around in, look cute, and eat as much as you want in. I put together a little list for my fellow last minute shoppers.

The easiest thing to wear would be a dress and boots/booties. Or a look that I'm really into (especially for traveling!) would be joggers with a fancier top, sweater, a tee paired with a jacket, and topped off with a pair of heels.

These next few days with be some crazy ones as I finish out work for the week and prep for our usual trip to South Carolina. I'll try to post a few Instagrams to include y'all in the craziness, so follow along @catlyonc!

Thanksgiving Hostess

The Thanksgiving hostess is a well known one. Not just because they open up their homes to create the meal we look forward to every year, but because of the well stocked house full of all things cozy.

I've listed some things that I would have in my house if I were to host the turkey meal. From making the house smell like cinnamon to cozy fur to wrap yourself in with a custom jug to sip out of.

Work With The Booties You Have

Sweater- Francesca's, similar here
Skirt- Piperlime, similar here & here
Shoes- Old, similar $100 here & here
Hat- Windsor (under $10 here!!)
Earrings- Old, similar
Lipstick- Maybelline in "Mesmerizing Magenta"

I so wish I had the right shade in this bootie because that would've made for a flawless finish. But you gotta work with what you have, right? I did list quite a few down below since I do get questions and comments about them.

In just a short time I will be headed back down to South Carolina and I don't think I have been more excited! Having some time off to spend with family and down south is exactly what my soul needs before the holiday bustle begins.

Boho Vibes

Cardigan- Francesca's, similar
Jumpsuit- Francesca's, similar
Flats- Topshop, love these
Earrings- Old, similar

I had no idea how this outfit would turn out; however, I was happily surprised. You will definitely be seeing it in the spring/summer of 2016. It has spaghetti straps and the top is lined with a delicate lace. It will perfectly pair with nude strappy heels for warm weekends. I couldn't find this exact one since it's pretty out of season, but a maxi or midi dress would pair nicely as well.

Woahhhh, so the holidays just blew up right after Halloween. I want to start holiday themed posts but I feel like it's too early. Any input? I could start with just one gift guide or holiday inspired outfits.
